Are you a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong Java and/or Groovy expertise who thrives on automation, cloud technologies, and continuous improvement?
Join Webfleet's agile engineering team, where you'll take ownership of building and evolving scalable, reliable cloud platforms. Working across the development and operations lifecycle, you'll drive automation, enhance CI/CD pipelines, and improve platform reliability using technologies such as AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, Jenkins, GitHub, Bitbucket, SonarQube, Grafana, and Jira.
We're looking for engineers with a pragmatic, collaborative mindset and hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure, Infrastructure as Code, containers, and modern DevOps practices. Experience with AWS and Kubernetes is highly valued, while a strong willingness to learn and grow is equally appreciated.
If you enjoy solving complex engineering challenges and want to help shape the future of Webfleet's cloud platform, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do:
As part of the team, you will:
Design, improve, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure and platform services;
Work with AWS and Kubernetes to operate scalable and reliable services;
Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines;
Automate infrastructure and operational processes using tools such as Terraform;
Use Java and/or Groovy to develop, maintain, and improve automation, tooling, pipelines, and platform-related services;
Collaborate with development teams, architects, product owners, and system engineers to support reliable delivery of new features;
Improve monitoring, logging, metrics, alerting, and operational visibility using tools such as Grafana;
Support stability, performance, quality assurance, incident prevention, and continuous improvement;
Help improve deployment processes, release automation, and service operations;
Identify, prevent, and resolve potential security and operational risks;
Contribute to code reviews, infrastructure reviews, and technical discussions.
Who are you?
There is no single path to becoming part of Webfleet. However, to be successful in this role, we imagine you bring the following:
Solid experience as a DevOps engineer, platform engineer, cloud engineer, or similar role;
Strong Java and/or Groovy development skills;
Hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes;
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as Jenkins;
Experience with container technologies such as Docker;
Experience with infrastructure as code, preferably Terraform;
A good understanding of cloud infrastructure, service operations, automation, monitoring, and reliability;
An interest in working closely with software engineers, architects, component owners, and system engineers;
Strong communication skills, an analytical mindset, and a goal-oriented, quality-focused approach;
Knowledge of PostgreSQL would be a plus;
A willingness to learn and adopt new technologies as needed by the team;
Fluency in English.
