Flex Working
The pandemic shifted our way of working. Most of our employees continued to work from home even after the quarantine period ended and it has now become a new reality for all of us. In a global survey to our +950 employees, we wanted to know how they felt about working from home and the future of remote working.
The results overwhelming showed that despite choosing to work from home, our employees missed the social aspect of working in the office (at Webfleet/Bridgestone Mobility Solutions we have a strong culture of coffee chats in the kitchen!). However, at the same time, we learnt that working from home provided a new level of flexibility that they had not experienced before and wanted to keep.
That’s why we introduced the Flex Working Model. We want our employees to keep enjoying the individual flexibility to combine going to the office or staying at home during the week. Our goal is that you feel the most comfortable when working and to achieve a healthy work-life balance.
In our Flex Working Model, employees can work from the office a minimum of two days a week, and the rest of the week anywhere they like; at home, at a café or in a co-working space.
This way, we can set the times to get together with our teams or fellow colleagues, and make the most of the social atmosphere we have all missed.
