Free language classes with GoFluent
With GoFluent, the corporate language academy at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions, our colleagues can learn up to 12 different languages, from their preferred device and at their own pace.
As of February 2023, all of our employees will have access to GoFluent, an online training language platform available globally.
The platform can be accessed on their preferred device, whether a computer, tablet or mobile phone. Each one of our employees will have the chance to improve their skills in English, German, French, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese via online activities and conversation classes. Moreover, there is also access to online activities to learn Dutch, Arabic, Japanese, Korean, Russian or Chinese.
What are the benefits of learning a new language?
While it improves your memory, your verbal and communication abilities, and boosts your performance in other academic areas, learning a new language can also give individuals an insight into other cultures, making us more prepared and confident to travel the world and explore other people’s ways of living, and therefore it will help eliminate unconscious bias and stigmas.
In our organisation, there are colleagues from more than 55 different nationalities, an aspect that makes us proud of the diversity and uniqueness of our people. Therefore, to help them most effectively collaborate and communicate with each other, we have rolled out this benefit globally so that they can learn more about their preferred language available and help them connect with international teammates.

As GoFluent is personalized, meaning that the content available will be different for every individual depending on their language proficiency level and the time they spend on the platform individually, our colleagues will be able to learn at their own pace and learn several languages at the same time if desired. - Recommended activities according to your preferred subjects and interests and your proficiency level.
- Self-learning activities on listening, reading, grammar and vocabulary.
- Conversation classes, where you can join live with other learners to speak on selected topics.
