Senior Accountant General Ledger
To strengthen our Financial team, we’re looking for a General Ledger Accountant working either full time or part time. This role will be interesting for an experienced individual as well as for someone who is looking to start their career with General Ledger.
Here’s a little taste of your challenge:
Completing month-closing activities in line with month end schedule;
Balance sheet and P&L analysis as part of the month-end process and detailed analysis provided in the monthly closing files to enable full and complete review by other teams;
Accounts reconciliations;
Verification of payroll calculations prepared by payroll providers;
Preparation and booking of payroll journal entries;
Inter-company accounting and reconciliation, incl. invoicing and interest calculation;
CIT reconciliation in co-operation with the Tax department;
VAT reporting for PL entities;
Intrastate and statistical reporting for PL entities;
Preparation of financial statement for PL entities;
Leading role during local audits;
Purchase order creation;
Who are you?
Experience with General Ledger ;
Your Polish and English are advanced (written and verbal);
You have experience of working with Excel and with a recognized ERP package – SAP strongly preferred;
You are experienced in working in an international company/shared service centre;
You have excellent analytical and communication skills;
You are able to work in a structured way, team player, service oriented, flexible, pro-active.
