Business Development Representative

At Webfleet we are looking for a Business Development Representative based in our office in Santiago - Chile.

The Business Development Representative is responsible for driving new business acquisition and pipeline generation through proactive outbound and inbound sales activities. This role supports accelerated revenue growth by qualifying leads and developing opportunities within the fleet management and telematics industry. The position plays a key role in supporting both direct sales and channel-driven growth for Webfleet in Chile.

Your day-to-day

  • Proactively generate new business opportunities through outbound prospecting (calls, emails, digital channels) and qualification of new potential customers.

  • Qualify inbound leads and assess customer needs within fleet management and telematics use cases.

  • Support field sales and channel partners by generating and nurturing qualified opportunities.

  • Maintain accurate pipeline and activity reporting in CRM systems.

  • Collaborate closely with marketing on lead follow-up, campaigns and conversion optimization.

  • Work with channel sales and partners to support indirect sales motions where applicable.

  • Ensure a high-quality customer experience throughout the sales engagement.

  • Achieve defined KPIs related to pipeline creation, conversion rates and revenue targets.

Who are you?

  • Experience in inside sales, business development or telesales within B2B technology environments.

  • Strong communication and persuasion skills with a customer-centric mindset.

  • Ability to manage high-volume prospecting and multiple opportunities simultaneously.

  • Results-driven, resilient and comfortable working with targets and KPIs.

  • Experience using CRM tools and structured sales processes.

  • Knowledge of fleet management, telematics, IoT or SaaS solutions is a strong advantage.
