In the fourth session of our “Ask me anything” series, we spoke with Raghunath Banerjee, the VP of Data Solutions at Bridgestone Mobility Solutions.
Raghunath shared his view about the innovative line of business, Data Solutions. “Our core focus is to develop advanced data-driven mobility solutions by leveraging connected-vehicle intelligence insights: empower data-driven decision-making processes and build competence in data science, artificial intelligence and machine learning algorithms to create new value streams for Bridgestone Mobility Solutions,” he explained.
We also got to know him personally. His favourite movies are Saving Private Ryan (1998) by Steven Spielberg and Gladiator (2000) by Ridley Scott, which he described as being very close to his heart.
Raghunath’s greatest hobby is photography. It puts him in the best mood to start the weekends. He takes part in photography groups and always tries to expand his knowledge.
Photography also brings him relaxation and helps him disconnect during his free time and travels. The best spots to explore are always surrounded by mountains and water—which also happens to be the landscape he likes to photograph the most.
What’s one piece of professional advice he would give to everyone out there? He truly believes in sticking as much as possible to these four Cs: Curiosity, Compassion, Connection and Communication.
